Senior Software Engineer, GenAI Frontend

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications that allow users to author robot solutions from multi-modal prompts
• Drive the conversion of research prototypes into production-grade conversational interfaces
• Build bespoke, generative AI-driven frontends composed of customizable web components
• Plan and roadmap greenfield projects while designing, developing, and iterating on code
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and UX groups to deliver phased technical deliverables

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience launching and iterating on large web frontends
• Proficiency with TypeScript and at least one popular framework (Angular, React, or Lit)
• Experience leading large technical projects with multiple stakeholders and documenting best practices
• Proficiency with browser-native technologies and infrastructure (e.g., web workers, client-side AI)
• Experience using LLMs for structured content generation

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong interest in improving the accessibility of robotics and automated manufacturing
• Past or current research experience (PhD in Computer Science or equivalent) in building innovative interfaces
• Startup experience building products from 0 to 1 in rapidly changing technical landscapes
