Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

PathAI's mission is to improve patient outcomes with AI-powered pathology. Our platform promises substantial improvements to the accuracy of diagnosis and the efficacy of treatment of diseases like cancer, leveraging modern approaches in machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Solve interesting problems with code and build new features for internal and external users
• Drive the architecture of the application platform considering the future product roadmap
• Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, and infrastructure teams
• Drive and uphold high engineering standards, ensuring software is reviewed, tested, and integrated
• Mentor team members and share knowledge
• Contribute to a SaaS platform used in clinical trial workflows, ensuring reliability and compliance
• Collaborate with clinical, QA, and regulatory teams to ensure software changes meet validation expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of full life cycle development experience
• Experience designing and building Python-based applications (FastAPI or Django)
• Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO design
• Cloud Platform experience with AWS
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with a distributed team

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IaC frameworks
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
