Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack- Java+Angular)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance sports tooling applications used by content operators to deliver global sports data
• Work on Angular-based tools and Java backends to support data entry for various sports like Cricket, Football, and Volleyball
• Implement robust queuing mechanisms using Indexed DB and AWS SQS to ensure stability and performance
• Participate in an Agile/Scrum development environment, contributing to architecture brainstorming and technical discussions
• Write high-quality, unit-tested code and implement Playwright regression tests as part of standard coding practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional programming experience
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with Java
• At least 1 year of experience working with Angular
• Proficiency with ES6, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical subject
• Excellent communication skills and ability to share knowledge within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MS SQL and Playwright
• Knowledge of APIs, JSON(P), and XML
• Experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and cloud-based technology components (IaaS/PaaS)
• A passion for sports and an interest in sports data
