Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure frontend features meet business needs and provide excellent user experiences
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for responsive and accessible applications across various devices
• Contribute to the engineering design process by evaluating technical tradeoffs and architectural decisions
• Lead technical design and implementation of frontend features for sizable production applications
• Mentor other engineers and drive innovation by researching and implementing frontend best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering commercial products to market
• 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or large, complex projects
• Significant expertise with React and the React ecosystem, including unidirectional data flow patterns (Redux preferred)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and the latest ECMAScript standards
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs
• Experience optimizing web applications for performance and accessibility
• Ability to work onsite in our Philadelphia, PA office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React Native, AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Experience standing up and maintaining a design system
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles
