Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Counsel’s mission is to multiply the world's healthcare capacity. We are building the first fully-vertical, AI-native medical group from the ground up, redesigning the clinical stack with custom AI tools to make physicians more effective.

Responsibilities

• Craft user interfaces for new paradigms of AI-enabled care
• Co-create and own product experiences across patient and physician platforms
• Shape frontend architecture, design systems, and state management
• Partner with ML research and backend teams to integrate LLM techniques into clinical workflows
• Work closely with Product, Clinical, and Design teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production frontend software
• Deep fluency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS
• Strong command of React and Next.js
• Expertise in CSS, animation, and design systems
• Familiarity with AI/ML and LLM applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Startup or high-growth company experience
• Experience with Node.js or React Native
