Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications using Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Design and develop web services architecture and APIs
• Manage relational, spatial, and NoSQL database design
• Implement micro-service architecture and containerization
• Work with cloud-native development on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Develop customized code and scripts for specialized spatial analysis
• Integrate and tailor geospatial Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software
• Develop terrain analysis visualization and automated detection algorithms

Requirements

• Experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python enterprise development
• Proficiency in web services, API development, and micro-services
• Experience with relational and NoSQL database design
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration
• Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Minimum 8-10 years of full stack development experience depending on education level

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile/Lean philosophy experience (Scrum or Team Lead preferred)
• Agile Development Certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, or CSP)
• Experience with CI/CD, TDD, or automated testing
• Expertise in geospatial information systems (GIS) and spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial)
• Experience with geospatial data formats (KML, KMZ, NITF, TIFF)
• Experience with SAR or RADAR imaging technologies
