Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale the factory stack using Go and Postgres to orchestrate battery electrodes and assembly lines
• Drive the integration of real-time machine data with high-level business logic for material flow and process control
• Partner with software, data, controls, process, and quality engineers to bridge the gap between hardware and software
• Take ownership of systems through rotating on-call shifts and providing on-the-floor support for 24/7 production
• Leverage on-prem and cloud infrastructure to build scalable solutions that replace legacy silos

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade software services
• Professional expertise in Go
• Deep experience in Postgres relational database design and query optimization
• Ability to architect and own end-to-end software systems for complex real-world processes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills for relaying technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments interacting with physical hardware
• Experience with distributed systems, message brokers, or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience collaborating with Automation, Process, and Operations teams
