Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and global rollout of the Core platform used in market data, quantitative research, pricing, and strategies
• Develop tools and frameworks for tuning data-driven systematic pricing and trading strategies
• Write software to communicate with exchanges via APIs using protocols like FIX, Websocket, or HTTP
• Optimize exchange communication through kernel bypass and connection handling optimization
• Implement trading algorithms based on requirements from traders and quants
• Investigate and resolve production issues including crashes and performance bottlenecks

Requirements

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional C++ software development experience
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Experience in parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming
• Ability to write clean, reliable, and highly scalable code
• Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the proprietary trading industry
• Proficiency in Rust, Python, or Typescript
