Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end technical ownership of core systems including schema design, backend APIs, and React surfaces
• Design and build AI-powered features and integrations using agent workflows and LLM-backed automation
• Drive technical design for significant features and produce well-reasoned proposals
• Mentor and support P2 engineers through code review, pairing, and design feedback
• Collaborate with product, design, pricing, and operations to translate complex problems into solutions
• Build and ship incrementally in a high-velocity production environment
• Ensure reliability by building in metrics and monitoring

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Full-stack fluency from database to browser
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production user workflows
• Proficiency with deploying and maintaining services on AWS
• Strong technical rigor and communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, React, or AWS
• Familiarity with agentic patterns, RAG, or workflow orchestration like Temporal
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight technology, or pricing systems
