Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and enhance business-critical, complex data pipelines using various data processing tools and automation
• Expand capabilities in Deep Learning and LLM-powered extraction of clinical insights from global datasets
• Devise creative solutions for technical and business challenges to help the team scale
• Contribute to shaping team roadmaps and technology development
• Rapidly iterate on products while maintaining high engineering standards for quality and security
• Collaborate with oncologists, clinicians, and product leaders to solve complex healthcare challenges

Requirements

• 4-8 years of professional data engineering experience
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Python, C#, SQL)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and data warehouse solutions (Snowflake)
• Experience with data orchestration tools (Databricks, Spark, Ray, DBT, Prefect, or Airflow)
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the UK healthcare sector or exposure to standards like HL7
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or security engineering
