Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical design of the Customer Experience Platform, balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability.
• Work hands-on alongside engineers (30–50% IC) to bring system designs to production-quality reality.
• Define API specs, data contracts, code quality guidelines, and architectural patterns.
• Maintain high availability (>99.9% uptime) and minimize critical production issues.
• Partner with Product and UX to translate customer workflows into scalable systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years in software development with 3+ years in technical leadership or architecture.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven patterns.
• Proficiency in Cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Strong command of Python, Node.js, React, or Go.
• Experience with AI/ML integration, including LLM APIs, agents, and embeddings.
• Proven track record of designing systems for significant scale.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical decisions to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in B2B SaaS, specifically in retention or customer engagement.
• Experience leading migrations (monolith to microservices or legacy to modern).
• Knowledge of HIPAA or ISO 27001 compliance.
• Experience with outcome-based engineering performance models.
