Senior Software Engineer - ERP Integration

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements and functional specifications into executable stories, designs, and code modules.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and robust code by building adequate test suites and observability frameworks.
• Guide application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions to ensure alignment with architecture blueprints and standards.
• Mentor other engineers through onboarding documents, root cause analysis, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Automate and simplify team development, testing, and operations processes for increased efficiency.
• Evaluate modern software, tools, and technologies to provide objective analysis and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in software development or a related field.
• 5-7 years of technical experience in Oracle Cloud ERP Projects as an integration developer/engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP integration and PaaS, including FBDI, OIC-based REST Web Services, SOA Suite, ICS, JCS, and VBCS.
• Expertise in building inbound and outbound integrations between Oracle SaaS and on-premise or other cloud applications.
• Proficiency with OIC adapters (ERP Cloud, REST/SOAP, Apache Kafka, FTP, Oracle DB, etc.).
• Strong skills in SQL/PLSQL for developing and optimizing scripts, reports, and database procedures.
• Experience performing data conversions using FBDI Templates.
• Functional knowledge in Oracle Financials or SCM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) concepts, including Object Storage and OCI Streams.
• Expertise in creating and scheduling Oracle Cloud ESS Jobs and BIP Jobs.
• Understanding of integration architecture patterns (batch vs. real-time, messaging/streaming, and event-based solutions).
• Experience using DevOps and Release Automation for OIC.
• Working experience with CI/CD processes.
