Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, customer-facing backend capabilities from architecture to production
• Drive API and system design decisions using REST and GraphQL
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Improve reliability, observability, and testing practices
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident resolution, and post-mortems
• Mentor team members and contribute to hiring processes

Requirements

• Strong experience building scalable backend systems with TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience using NestJS
• Proven track record designing and evolving REST APIs (GraphQL preferred)
• Solid experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Hands-on experience with data modeling and performance optimization in SQL or NoSQL databases
• Ability to own features end-to-end and make architectural trade-offs
• Comfort running production systems including testing and observability
• Active usage of modern AI coding tools in daily workflow
