Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including processing-intensive analytics and real-time systems
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements
• Resolve software problem reports
• Utilize appropriate software development and design methodologies
• Provide input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis

Requirements

• Current Poly clearance
• 12 years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
• Back-end development experience with Python and/or Java for big data applications
• Experience with tiered architectural systems and front-end development
• Proficiency in Linux/Ubuntu environments
• Front-end experience with JavaScript libraries such as Vue.js or PrimeVue

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, specifically regarding big data architecture
