Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in hands-on coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code adhering to best practices
• Lead technical discussions and propose solutions to drive team performance
• Lead and independently complete medium-sized projects or components
• Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance and constructive feedback
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to communicate technical concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development
• Experience with Node.js, Microservices, Docker, and Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like AWS Code Pipeline or GitHub Actions
• Proficiency in TypeScript, GraphQL, and database technologies like PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
• Proficiency in Subscriptions technology such as WebSockets or Pub/Sub
• Strong understanding of code architecture and design principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Svelte, SvelteKit, or other SSR frameworks like React/NextJS or Vue/Nuxt
• Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals and Storybook
