Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and demonstrating feature-rich applications and R&D projects
• Work on the Next-Generation Open Mission Planning System for the DoW
• Articulate the long-term vision for projects and translate it into detailed features and feasible software designs
• Develop the architectural runway necessary for large solutions
• Learn emerging technologies and programming tools to keep you and your team as well equipped as possible

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field
• 15 years of experience
• Background in developing mission planning applications for the DoW
• Proficiency in C#, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Experience with web frameworks such as React, Node.js, Vue.js, Next.js, ASP.NET, or Angular
• Strong software design and development skills
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing containerized microservices in a Kubernetes environment
• Background in full development lifecycle from development through launch
• Proficiency with AI-Assisted software development workflows
• Technical certifications (Scrum, Microsoft, Google Developer, etc.)
