Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain DRW's low latency trading platform deployed globally
• Work across the technical stack including order routing, market data, and risk systems
• Perform performance tuning for applications, Linux, and socket I/O

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing high-availability systems in C++ with tight latency constraints
• Background in multi-threaded programming and hardware/software interaction
• Proficiency in performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Experience with C++ libraries such as STL and Boost
• Knowledge of C++23 standards
• Experience with complex projects like custom compilers, matching engines, or real-time large-scale data processing
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the trading industry or ultra-low latency sensitive businesses
• Experience collaborating with Research teams and Quants
• Experience in gaming or streaming industries
