Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain DRW's low latency trading platform deployed globally
• Work on various areas of the technical stack including order routing, market data, and risk systems
• Work within the Core Infrastructure team to ensure high-availability and performance

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing high-availability systems in C++ with tight resource/latency constraints
• Background in multi-threaded programming and strong understanding of hardware/software interaction
• Skilled in performance tuning (applications, Linux, socket I/O) and troubleshooting
• Experience with C++ libraries such as STL and Boost
• Up to date on C++23 standards
• Experience with challenging projects like custom compilers, matching engines, or real-time large-scale data processing
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the trading industry or ultra-low latency sensitive businesses
• Experience working with Research teams and Quants
• Experience within gaming or streaming industries
