Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and ship high-impact features in a modern, cloud-native stack
• Provide technical leadership, drive architectural decisions, and mentor teammates
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data to turn problems into shipped outcomes
• Evolve systems through scalable architecture and reduce technical debt
• Own end-to-end delivery of product features, including AI-powered capabilities

Requirements

• Proven experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience building scalable RESTful and/or GraphQL services
• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks like React and Next.js
• Experience building highly available applications on AWS
• Knowledge of CI/CD and container-based deployment (Docker, Fargate, Kubernetes)
• Experience with automated testing (e.g., Playwright)
• AI-native workflow approach using AI coding agents
• Senior-level leadership and ability to break down ambiguous problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying LLM-based tooling (e.g., LiteLLM)
• Experience with high-volume data ingestion pipelines and third-party APIs
• Working knowledge of Python and/or Java
• Strong data modeling and database skills (PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
• Experience with distributed, event-driven systems (SNS/SQS, Lambda)
• Knowledge of logging, observability, and cloud cost optimization
