Senior Software Engineer - DevSecOps Embedded Communications

Responsibilities

• Develop DevSecOps pipelines for embedded systems in air-gapped environments
• Integrate tooling, applications, and scripts into development pipelines
• Participate in the selection of DevSecOps technologies to enable automation for product development teams
• Develop applications and scripts to support the integration of software updates
• Automate testing, deployment, and software artifact generation within pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams in an agile (SAFe) environment

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance
• Proficient programming experience in Bash and Python
• Proficiency with GitLab and GitLab Runners
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Linux environments
• Understanding of IP networking and protocols
• STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. government-issued security clearance (transferable)
• Experience developing in air-gapped, on-premises environments
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory or equivalent artifact management tools
• Familiarity with BitBucket, Bamboo, or Atlassian tools
• Hands-on experience with configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) or IaC (Terraform)
• Knowledge of observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, or Rust
