Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps and SRE functions to design, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for the Dentsu.Connect Creative portfolio.
• Package, deploy, and manage enterprise workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR).
• Design and optimize GitHub Actions workflows, including code build, packaging, quality testing, and automated deployment across environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM Templates, or similar tools to automate provisioning.
• Manage service routing and service mesh frameworks, specifically Istio, to orchestrate container workloads.
• Oversee the end-to-end application lifecycle for MERN stack, Python full-stack, and AI-powered applications.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and application development teams to drive DevOps best practices and centralized capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in DevOps and SRE functions.
• Deep expertise in the Azure cloud platform, including AKS, Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure Networking.
• Proficiency in container orchestration and service mesh management (Istio).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM).
• Extensive experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Proven ability to manage the lifecycle of MERN stack and Python-based applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple time zones and technical disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certifications.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with cloud-native monitoring and observability platforms.
• Exposure to deploying or managing AI-powered/Gen-AI applications using Azure AI Services or Azure OpenAI.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
