Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated manufacturing automation systems and software based on business requirements.
• Participate in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, and delivery.
• Work within an agile software development team focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to gain insights into the Dell product portfolio and deliver diagnostic testing and software provisioning solutions.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of related software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with Bitbucket/GitHub for source control and Jenkins for build automation.
• Strong ability to code and debug complex programs using written or verbal design specifications.
• Knowledge of operating systems, databases, networking, and embedded software/firmware.
• Ability to work with hardware setups from a testing perspective.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
