Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software and storage environments
• Prepare written software and storage specifications for sophisticated products based on architectural diagrams
• Build and review design, functional, technical, and user documentation
• Develop, review, and implement comprehensive test strategies for software products and systems

Requirements

• 5–8 years of related software engineering experience
• Validated knowledge of programming languages and operating systems
• Strong understanding of firmware, BIOS, and device drivers
• Experience with embedded software/firmware and database management
• Proven ability to code and debug sophisticated programs using design specifications
• Capacity to quickly achieve proficiency in new tools, languages, and operating systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
