Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available backend services using Scala, Java, Go, or C++
• Build and scale distributed systems that power the Data Intelligence Platform across sovereign and air-gapped clouds
• Solve complex architectural trade-offs regarding concurrency, storage, and networking
• Drive zero-waste compute initiatives to optimize performance in resource-constrained environments like GovCloud
• Partner with Production Engineering to ensure high security standards and compliance guardrails

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance (active or re-activatable within 2 years)
• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance optimization
• Strong production-level experience in Java, Scala, Go, or C++
• Experience building and deploying large-scale SaaS or cloud-native applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a current polygraph (Counterintelligence or Full Scope)
