Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build next-generation distributed data storage and processing systems
• Develop open source frameworks like Apache Spark
• Provide high performance services and client libraries for cloud storage backends
• Work on storage management systems like Delta Lake
• Orchestrate and operate large-scale data pipelines
• Build next-generation query optimizers and execution engines

Requirements

• BS or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 5+ years of production-level experience in Java, Scala, or C++
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures
• Experience with distributed systems, databases, and big data systems (Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• Ability to work towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables
