About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and operate scalable, reliable data systems and pipelines from ingestion to modeling and visualization
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data products and pipelines for both batch and streaming data
- Implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and shared developer tooling using Pulumi, Terraform, or similar
- Improve security, compliance, and cost posture of the data stack through IAM hardening and observability
- Partner with product stakeholders to uncover requirements and make architectural decisions
Requirements
- 6+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Dagster, Airflow, or Luigi
- Experience with data technologies like dbt, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, or Databricks
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, specifically AWS services
- Experience with CI/CD and collaboration tools like GitHub, Argo, or Jenkins
- Ability to design and implement robust data models and transformations
