Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the core services behind Crusoe Cloud's managed container registry
• Take strategic, high-impact components from design through production
• Drive performance improvements and squash bottlenecks in the registry architecture
• Guide the team through architecture decisions, design, and code reviews
• Shape technical designs within the team and across adjacent teams
• Drive dialogue with product and platform partners to align on priorities

Requirements

• 5-8 years of professional software development experience
• Proven success designing, scaling, and hardening distributed systems
• Practical experience profiling, benchmarking, and optimizing distributed systems
• Strong fundamentals in microservices and cloud-native infrastructure
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, Java, or C++
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Ability to lead complex projects from design through deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with OCI image and distribution specs
• Experience building container registry products
• Experience with storage or caching systems at scale
