Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate services behind managed logs products, including ingestion endpoints and query APIs
• Develop self-service observability capabilities and low-touch product experiences
• Design scalable, durable, and reliable distributed systems with multi-tenancy and quota management
• Collaborate with product, cloud support, and SRE teams to improve customer workflows
• Participate in a customer-facing on-call rotation and improve operational automation
• Implement innovative features for observability offerings tailored to AI workloads

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++
• Proven ability to design and scale fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Experience with observability technologies like log aggregation, time-series databases, or distributed tracing
• Strong fundamentals in microservices and infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD)
• Experience owning customer-facing services end-to-end, including API design

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with tools like Loki, VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry
• Experience mentoring earlier-career engineers
