Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and operate highly reliable billing services including usage metering, pricing models, invoicing, and payment integrations
• Build real-time and batch processing pipelines for usage tracking and cost calculation
• Develop APIs and services providing customers with transparent insights into usage and spend
• Partner with Finance and Product teams to support new pricing models and product launches
• Improve system observability, reconciliation processes, and error handling
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions for long-term scalability

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Backend development expertise in Go, Java, Rust, or C++
• Experience building billing, payments, metering, or high-integrity financial systems
• Expertise in designing scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and real-time/batch data processing
• Strong focus on data accuracy, consistency, and financial correctness
• Proven ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders like Finance and Product
