Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale high-performance, secure, and reusable backend services end-to-end.
• Lead greenfield development for new capabilities such as fraud signal pipelines and intelligent decisioning layers.
• Partner with product, design, data science, and engineering teams to balance risk management with user experience.
• Drive technical leadership in system design, coding, testing, and DevOps practices.
• Optimize intelligent services to protect users from fraud while ensuring personalized interactions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and scaling high-performance backend systems.
• Expertise in architecting large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with frontend and mobile teams.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and secure coding practices.
• Experience designing resilient systems that meet high security and regulatory standards.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-moving, iterative environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lending, credit cards, payments, or other financial services.
• Familiarity with mobile app ecosystems and fintech.
