Senior Software Engineer, Core Experiences

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and navigate integration/UX tradeoffs across different platforms.
• Deliver solutions via a cross-platform SDK to enhance the overall product experience.
• Optimize existing functionality, such as loading speeds and parsing intelligence, by designing efficient abstractions and algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

• Strong systems thinking with an emphasis on end-to-end design and simplicity.
• Proficiency with Kotlin Multiplatform (experience with Java is acceptable).
• Experience developing backend services and working with cloud functions.
• Ability to work quickly in a high-growth startup environment while maintaining focus.
• Strong collaborative skills to work alongside designers, marketers, and PMs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
