About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead L1/L2/L3 support teams to ensure smooth operations and effective triage of incidents and problems.
  • Drive the technical vision and roadmap for ecommerce platform capabilities, ensuring scalability and reliability during high-traffic launches.
  • Design, build, and implement AI agents and copilots using frameworks such as RAG.
  • Lead the development of bot mitigation strategies to protect high-demand product launches and ensure fair consumer access.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for dot-com operations and a secondary contact for retail operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, testing strategies, and operational excellence.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations within your domain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in ecommerce engineering and SRE practices.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or equivalent ecommerce tools.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or New Relic.
  • Proven experience building high-traffic launch capabilities, including bot mitigation, queue management, and traffic shaping.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in an ecommerce environment.
  • Knowledge of site performance optimization, including Google Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals.
  • Experience with ServiceNow for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading and mentoring global technical teams.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
  • Ability to contribute to software development, APIs, and platform enhancements beyond traditional operations.
