Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain React applications and Node.js services to support software engineering efforts.
• Build scalable, highly resilient, cloud-native architectures using microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, analysts, and partner teams.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless software delivery and production support.
• Perform code reviews to ensure best practices, security by design, and high code quality.
• Optimize database management and identify performance bottlenecks across the full stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java/Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Full-stack development experience with React.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk or SignalFx.
• Familiarity with messaging and streaming platforms like Kafka or Event Hubs.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and identity and access management.
• Exposure to Supply Chain or Corporate domains (inventory, logistics, or financial systems).
• Experience integrating with ERP platforms.
