Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade ecommerce solutions to support global digital commerce operations.
• Design, build, and implement AI agents and copilots using frameworks such as RAG.
• Drive the technical vision and roadmap for ecommerce platform capabilities, ensuring scalability and performance during high-traffic product launches.
• Develop and improve bot mitigation strategies and technologies to protect high-demand launches and ensure fair consumer access.
• Implement solutions leveraging B2C Commerce, Order Management, and Commerce APIs.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and testing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in ecommerce engineering and software development.
• Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or equivalent ecommerce tools.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in an ecommerce environment (e.g., recommendation engines, intelligent search, or conversational AI).
• Proven experience designing bot mitigation systems and managing high-traffic launch capabilities (queue management, traffic shaping, etc.).
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go.
• Experience with microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, etc.) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience implementing CI/CD and managing DevOps responsibilities for production software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk or SignalFx.
• Familiarity with messaging and streaming platforms like Kafka or Event Hubs.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, identity and access management, and compliance.
