About the role
Responsibilities
- Specify, design, and develop applicative software modules in C++/Qt to service, diagnose, and configure the robotic system
- Participate in full system design, prototyping, and verification activities
- Act as a main contributor to the roadmap for implementing remote monitoring (IoT) and data connectivity
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and visualization
- Contribute to the optimization of the DataFactory within the Azure/Databricks environment
- Implement automated validation checks and software test procedures
- Guide the configuration of internal tools to enhance data ingestion efficiency
- Contribute to cross-functional investigations including CAPA and root cause analyses
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- 2+ years focused on data engineering or connectivity solutions
- Expert in C++ programming for Windows and high proficiency in Qt
- Strong expertise in Databricks, Azure, Terraform, and Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data modeling and pipeline orchestration
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and medical device quality management systems
- Knowledge of data security principles including encryption and anonymization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial buses such as CAN or EtherCAT
- Experience with embedded platforms
