Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack solutions using Java 11+ and React for a cloud-native, microservices-based platform
• Collaborate with international teams of engineers, product managers, and designers to define system functionality
• Contribute to front-end architecture, state management, and component design to ensure high-quality user experience
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers regarding best practices and design decisions
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing across the full stack
• Develop unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure end-to-end quality
• Work with DevOps teams to support deployments and troubleshoot production issues

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing large-scale applications with Java and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Strong expertise in backend development, including multi-threading, messaging, and horizontal scalability
• Proficiency in React, including hooks, state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.), and component-based architecture
• Solid experience building REST APIs and integrating them with frontend applications
• Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and microservices architecture
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with cloud platforms such as MS Azure
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, Babel) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD practices
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT
