Senior Software Engineer

About the Company

Commure is building the AI Operating System for healthcare, providing a platform that spans the full care journey from Ambient AI to autonomous Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). The company handles billions in annual claims and supports hundreds of thousands of clinicians nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Manage clearinghouse integrations and handle heterogeneous response semantics
• Develop claim generation pipelines for electronic EDI formats (CMS-1500, CMS-1450/UB, CDT) and paper/PDF generation
• Build routing logic for the Eligibility Orchestrator to ensure accurate payer matching
• Scale a high-volume, idempotent rule engine with full explainability
• Contribute to technical direction, architecture, and tool improvements for the RCM platform
• Take ownership of end-to-end integration workflows from design to post-launch monitoring
• Collaborate with product and healthcare teams to define technical approaches
• Mentor engineers and conduct in-depth code reviews to uphold technical excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React
• Proficiency in Python or Go
• Experience with Git, GCP/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and relational/non-relational databases
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
• Proven track record of designing end-to-end solutions and making architectural decisions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced environments
