Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical direction of the practice management platform, Insights, to support thousands of practices and millions of users
• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions using ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL
• Improve system reliability and observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices
• Optimize performance and scalability of web applications for seamless user experiences
• Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to ensure high availability and resilience
• Mentor and guide engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence
• Lead high-impact projects and conduct in-depth code reviews
• Work with product and design teams to build intuitive experiences for healthcare providers

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in scalable full-stack applications
• Proficiency in JavaScript (React/Vue), Python, and PostgreSQL
• Strong architectural skills for designing reliable and performant web applications
• Experience leading multi-month, high-impact projects in fast-paced environments
• Deep understanding of modern front-end engineering, including React fundamentals and state management
• Experience with complex backend systems, API design, and database optimization
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with a focus on observability
• Ability to mentor engineers and communicate technical concepts to leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling front-end applications in high-traffic environments
• Background in data visualization and building interactive analytics dashboards
• Familiarity with GraphQL, REST, gRPC, and BFF architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
• Experience in highly regulated industries like finance or insurance
