Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement payment processing systems handling high throughput and strict reliability
• Build APIs and SDKs for merchant integration
• Develop fraud detection and risk management features using real-time data analysis
• Architect systems for performance, reliability, and observability at scale
• Optimize database queries, caching strategies, and service communication patterns
• Work end-to-end on features from technical design through deployment
• Mentor other engineers through code review and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
• Deep understanding of REST API design and distributed systems
• Experience with relational and document databases, especially MongoDB
• Experience building systems for high transaction volumes or strict correctness
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar) and containerized deployments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React
• Experience in payments, fintech, or blockchain/crypto
