Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the bring-up of new hardware in close cooperation with electrical teams to provide robust interfaces for high-level application teams
• Create drivers for new boards, components, and sensors, including optical and lighting components
• Evaluate new hardware using EVKs and development kits
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software environments on heterogeneous multi-core systems
• Ensure product quality and robustness through the development of test automation
• Support and communicate with internal teams utilizing the software platform

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in embedded software development
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Extensive experience with embedded Linux, including the kernel, bootloaders, and Linux distribution development
• Strong system engineering skills to translate and implement product requirements
• Understanding of electrical schematics and the boundary layer between electrical engineering and software
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Yocto Project
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in an R&D environment
