Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Services

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following established best practices
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end features
• Integrate with databases and external services, ensuring performance, security, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization efforts
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support application deployment in cloud and local environments

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and debugging practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
• Experience building private cloud workflow
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture
