Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Platform

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services that support Poshmark’s marketplace experience
• Collaborate with peers and senior engineers to implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable systems
• Write clean, well-documented, and well-tested code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback to continually improve
• Troubleshoot and fix issues across distributed systems in production environments
• Contribute to improving development processes, tooling, and team workflows

Requirements

• BE or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 4+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Experience with Amazon AWS or other Cloud Computing platforms preferred
• Proficiency in technologies such as Ruby, JRuby, Java, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, or Linux
