Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement solutions to modernize the existing technology stack for cloud-native development
• Enable CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment processes
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to implement desired state configuration and deliver environments on demand
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA teams, and product owners to provide technical guidance
• Optimize application performance and scalability using microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ensure application security, compliance, and system reliability through proactive monitoring
• Develop technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and API specifications
• Train and support development teams on new tools and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Solid experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Ansible or Terraform
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps principles, and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET, Java, Golang, NodeJS, or Python
• Experience with automated test frameworks (e.g., xUnit, JUnit, PyTest, Selenium)
• Experience migrating legacy applications to cloud-native architectures
• Knowledge of serverless computing and event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or ELK Stack
