Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale highly available, secure, and resilient distributed backend services.
• Write clean, idiomatic, and testable code primarily using Go and Python.
• Lead architecture discussions and drive technical decisions regarding performance, reliability, and modernization.
• Mentor and coach engineers on design patterns, code quality, and system-level thinking.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to translate product needs into technical specifications.
• Contribute to the migration of legacy .NET/C# services into modern Go/Python-based microservices.
• Identify and resolve system bottlenecks, technical debt, and operational inefficiencies.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Go and Python for building production-grade services.
• Experience building web-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms and distributed systems.
• In-depth experience with SQL and relational database schema design and optimization.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and experience with major providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and concurrency models.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with C# and the .NET Framework / .NET Core.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with API gateways and identity management (OAuth2, OIDC).
• Experience with workflow orchestration or distributed caching systems.
