Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, distributed, and high-performance backend systems
• Own large components or services end-to-end including architecture, development, and deployment
• Lead high-level and detailed design for critical systems and APIs
• Deliver high-quality code following best practices in testing, code reviews, and CI/CD
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Collaborate with product, data, and AI/ML teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

Requirements

• 6–8 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in backend engineering, system design, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience building SaaS or cloud-native applications at scale
• Deep knowledge of Node.js or similar backend frameworks
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and containerization
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-growth startups or scaling product organizations
• Exposure to AI/ML systems, LLMs, vector databases, or agentic workflows
• Experience with distributed caching, message queues, and multi-tenant architectures
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications
