Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

Responsibilities

• Develop revolutionary finance marketplace products, including design, user experience, and business logic.
• Ensure implementations adhere to defined specifications and processes in the PRD.
• Own end-to-end quality of deliverables throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Design and develop software components and systems for the pod.
• Work with managers, leads, and peers to evaluate and implement various technical options.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation within the team.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to drive product quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in backend development, delivering enterprise-class web applications.
• Expertise in Java technologies, specifically Spring, Hibernate, and Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS, including expertise in schema design.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes deployment and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Competence in software engineering best practices, including unit testing and test automation.
