Senior Software Engineer - Back End

Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in the design and implementation of our flagship product
• Prototype and iterate new feature sets infused with the latest AI technologies
• Help define technology best-practices and research future platform iteration
• Help mentor our current and future engineering team
• Work with high-quality, rich datasets from Fortune 500s to drive insights for our customers

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in back end development, ideally in startup/SaaS environments
• Strong proficiency in Python or similar leading back end technologies
• Familiarity with NodeJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, and Docker
• Working knowledge of design patterns like SOA and microservices
• Experience mentoring other engineers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with standard practices like TDD
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
