Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve scalable backend services, APIs, and user-facing product capabilities
• Lead technical design for new features and platform improvements
• Partner with product, design, AI, and data teams to develop intelligent, data-driven capabilities
• Anticipate future product and platform needs to support scale and expansion
• Improve system observability, resiliency, and performance
• Serve as a technical leader through design discussions, code reviews, and mentoring

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Java or TypeScript
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems, APIs, and microservices
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern developer tooling (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Track record of writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Strong collaboration and technical planning skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience building service-oriented systems and data-intensive applications
• Experience building high-quality frontend applications (for full-stack candidates)
• Familiarity with relational databases, caching systems, and streaming platforms
