Senior Software Engineer – Artificial Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maturation of software test tools to support Open Mission Systems (OMS) software architecture.
• Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models and Computer Vision algorithms for automated testing of avionic Pilot/Vehicle Interfaces (PVI).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and iterate on testing tools and algorithms.
• Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure data quality and identify technical insights.
• Develop innovative avionics software testing frameworks while adhering to Safety Risk Management processes.
• Research and implement emerging AI/ML and Computer Vision technologies and capabilities within the engineering industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• 4+ years of professional experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada.
• 4+ years of experience with the Software and Test Development lifecycle.
• 4+ years of experience with Python, ML Ops, and Data Ops frameworks.
• 4+ years of experience in Agile Software Development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
• Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art models including Generative AI, Computer Vision, and NLP.
• Experience with end-to-end ML workflows, including data pipelines, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Experience developing embedded real-time software.
• Experience working with small, agile teams on fast-paced, customer-funded programs.
• Current or recent U.S. security clearance.
