Arlo is rebuilding health insurance for small businesses from first principles. By using AI across underwriting, operations, and clinical programs, Arlo aims to ensure more premium dollars go toward actual care rather than administrative overhead and fraud.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI-powered features across web and mobile applications
• Partner with the AI team to integrate LLM agents into conversational user interfaces
• Own features across the full stack, from Python/Postgres backend APIs to modern frontends
• Implement user interfaces for AI-powered triage and proactive health engines
• Develop real-time streaming chat interfaces for AI care partners

Requirements

• Strong track record of shipping high-quality, full-stack consumer applications
• Proficiency in Python, Postgres, TypeScript, and React/React Native
• Deep product intuition and passion for user experience
• Experience leading 0-to-1 product development in fast-paced environments
• Excitement for integrating LLMs into intuitive products
• Fluency with modern engineering practices and AI-assisted tools like Cursor or Copilot

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or fintech
• Strong eye for design and user interface details
